Runtime error R6025 [#17748]

Post by z3huti »

Happened 3 time already, 2 times in 2330 and now 1 time in 2333

Cant reproduce, its just happens after some time.

After this you can only force to end MM via task manager.

Hi,

Thanks for this report. We haven't seen this issue. Are you able to replicate it with the debug build and provide a debug log?

Thanks!

got another one, no log, but I saw that ram usage was at 450MB

and I see that ram usage goes up with every track played to DLNA

imo cpu and ram usage is unacceptable

Hi, we have never seen this error, but reading about it: When a system conflict between some Windows components occurs, the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error is displayed, suggesting you need to perform some of the steps from this article: https://windowsreport.com/microsoft-vis ... ror-r6025/ to solve it or have a look at https://windowsreport.com/microsoft-vis ... indows-10/

As runtime errors can often be due to corrupted system files, can you please start with the SFC scan, see the section
1. Scan System Files here: https://windowsreport.com/microsoft-vis ... ror-r6025/

SFC scan found some problems, so maybe it was the reason for this error

OK, let us know whether the SFC scan helped. If you you are still seeing the error I will prepare debug version of UPnP.dll to test and have a better clue.

Thanks!

From time to time a crash of MM5 occurs: Runtime error R6025 and MM5 does not function anymore. Although running MM5 in debug mode, there is no request to send an error report. A causal reason regarding the specific MM5 operation is not recognizable according to my observations.

I am using: 5.0.2.2511_Debug.exe

Please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643
Please also add what you were doing with MediaMonkey at the time of the error.

This will help a developer analyze why this happens in your setup.

My experience from today:
I have experienced a series (3x) of crashes (Runtime error R6025; errorlog was submitted each time). After each crash the PC and MM5.0.2.2511_debug were restarted. Then the playing list was restarted. The crash typically occurred after about 30 minutes.
Since I normally use a DLNA player as audio output, I used the internal player as output in a fourth attempt. Here I could not observe a crash.
Therefore I suspect that the Runtime error R6025 is causally linked to the DNLA output

Hi,
Debug -> send logs send only current state of MM5 not full crash logs.

Can you please creat full debug loag as described at viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643

Hi,
Bug https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=17748 should be already fixed in 5.0.2.2516+

Can you please confirm?
