Malware app blocking MM5 outbound connections

I am running MM5 and I have had several instances thus far of my virus app blocking outbound connections to websites tagged mostly for trojans. The most frequent site is barreiras.ba.gov.br. Why would MM5 be trying to connect 1) to a site known for contain trojans, and 2) trying to connected to a Bosnian government website? Scary.

HI,
I check the code and we do not connect to barreiras.ba.gov.br I would rather check PC as it looks like you have Background Proxy Server installed on your PC that redirects all traffic to barreiras.ba.gov.br.

MediaMonkey do not collect any telemetry, nor reports back to us. Only Exception is Debug Version that in Case Of Crash ask user to send Crash Report.

I do not have a proxy server running. Also, the virus software reports that the module trying to connect to the foreign URL is mediamonkeyengine.exe. Any further thoughts?

No, MediaMonkey.exe do not contain any outbound connections to barreiras.ba.gov.br. have you tried to report false positive?
