2104 worth the wait

Post by johnnysocko »

Previous releases were so buggy wasn't worth the trouble to run more than once IMO. So far successfully scanned all my music into the collections as I want, was able to playback while it was building the library which couldn't do before, it didn't modify my music files by default behaviors, no crashes yet, all in all hoping this version supplants my use of version 4. Looks great so far.

I am finding 2106 much less buggy, but not completely bug-free. 2106 crashes whenever I try to modify something in the Art & Details (I think that's what it's called) in the lower right hand corner. The restart after a crash seems to work now (it didn't previously).

Hi,
If MM5 present you with Error dialog, can you click on Copy Log ID and paste it here before you send us log? If not Can you make screenshot of MM5 in time of crash?

I don't get an error dialogue, but an application error message. It only happens when I try to choose side-by-side in the layout options for Art & Details. I don't seem to be able to copy the message, but it says:

Uncaught error: "layoutDiv.qchild is not a function"

The source lines are 1334 to 1343

I am given the options of Restart, Restart in Safe Mode, Continue. Just Continuing seems to work fine.

Hi,
I can't replicate.
You can make screenshot and post it in next reply.

Info on how to do that you can find in my signature.

I have installed 2110 and I can report that I am no longer getting the error message when I make choices in Art & Details.

OP here. Appears may have been a little premature. Running on Windows 7 HP edition. Twice now, after leaving sitting idle overnight, when I come back to visit MM, it completely hangs my system-explorer I guess. That seems quite an accomplishment. Only option I have is to power-off. No, I don't want to try to replicate. :P
