When moving songs within a playlist, I keep getting kicked back to the top

I maintain a lot of playlists and arrange them precisely. In MM5, whenever I'm moving songs within a playlist, I can't move more than two or three of them before the view suddenly shifts to the top of the playlist. It's making my work take twice as long and is extremely annoying. Is there a way to prevent this, or is there a fix in progress?

Will it know where to find my library? When I first installed 5.0, I had to go to all sorts of trouble to re-link it.

Yes, if you install on top of your existing install it will maintain settings and Library.

First I posted that this fixed the problem ... but no, it didn't. The problem is just happening less often. I look forward to a fix for this bug.

Can you please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach to a Support Ticket: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86643

This will help a developer analyze why this happens in your setup.

No, I can't capture this because I can't predict when it will happen. Thankfully, it's also more rare now. I guess I'll just wait for others to report it so it can be fixed.

You can leave DebugView capturing till the problem occurs. I sometimes let it run for days.
