Bluetooth earbuds lose right channel

Post by Rossa5 »

My Pixel 4a5g on Android 11 when using bluetooth earbuds with each new song you lose the right channel. Disconnect reconnect and you get ONE more stereo song. All the other apps play stereo fine. MMA plays fine with wired buds. Until this is fixed MMA is unusable.

Hi,
There is common issue on BT vs. wired WHere while BT is connected you Plug Wired and pull them out to get stereo BT, I had such issue on one of the phones where oxidation of contacts caused wired connector to block right earbud from working. The reason is that a mono device will only output sound to the left side, which means generally, if a device output is detected/labeled EARPHONE it will be mono (Left only), if a device output is detected/labeled HEADPHONE will be stereo.

Thsi is not and MMA issue it is general one, MMA plays what system reports :(
