Artwork not syncing - please help

Hi

Firstly I want to say how impressed i am with MMW and MMA - it syncing all my music and tags fine. I have the latest versions of each. The only problem is its not syncing (via wi fi) the correct album art for some albums. They are showing correctly in MMW but just dont go across. Ive searched the forums and spent ages on it, but still cant get it work. The main problem albums are 'various' and 'versions' ones I have compiled myself - it seems to pick up a random album cover from that artist rather than one I have put on MMW. I originally had them as embedded but have also tried as files but still not working.

Can anyone help?

Make sure that all files on the Album (as MediaMonkey sees it) are correctly tagged as MediaMonkey only syncs 1 Artwork per Album, which means it's taken from 1 file on the Album.

Thanks for the reply. When I added artwork to the album's in MM I ticked the box to apply to all files, and when I click on each track in the album, the correct album art appears in MM - are there any other tags I need to check to get the artwork over to MMS?

Are you sure it is MediaMonkey's understanding of an Album (same Album and Album Artist) that has the correct Artwork? Use right click, Find more from same > Album in MMW to see.

Hi

Just tested 'find more from same album' and it brought up all the songs from the same album correctly. Each one with the correct artwork- but that art is still not showing on the app.

After a wifi sync send a debug log (from About screen) and open a Support Ticket with the logID. A developer can then analyze what may be causing this for you.

In MMA as you're doing a wifi sync. They may request MMW logs later.

Thought it would be MMS - how do I get to the about option - I can't see any way to get to that or settings?

In MMA use the menu (three dots or device hardware menu button) and then choose About.

Hi. I'm feeling stupid here - the 3 dots only appear when playing a song but doesn't have any menu/about options and there's nothing on the main screen - what am I missing?

Then your device may have a hardware button for it (often 3 button devices do).
