When streaming from MMW to MMA, I am noticing the Last Played data showing on files that have not necessarily been played but lay next in the upcoming playlist with the exact same LP timestamp as the currently played song.
Versions used:
MMW (alpha) - v.5.0.2.2503
MMAndroid - v.1.4.3.0950
UPnP streaming - Last Played status oddities

Re: UPnP streaming - Last Played status oddities
DLNA provides no method for MMW to determine if a file is played. So it's counted when a file is requested by the player. So this is why when the file is being cached the play count is updated.

Re: UPnP streaming - Last Played status oddities
Gotcha. It is, of course, not a big issue. I am very happy this Last Played data gets logged back to MMW to begin with. I only wish we could edit the Rating status remotely (on the phone/device) and have that written back to the MMW database as well!
Re: UPnP streaming - Last Played status oddities
Unfortunately DLNA provides no editing capabilities.
