MMA not responding; consistently now

MMA has been quirky past year on my Droid X (no cell service; serving mainly as a music player on wifi), but now it's not responding, consistently. It may actually play a track; then either freezes requiring battery removal to restart the Droid X; or may set the Droid X into a restart. Today it starts loading but the blue circle never stops spinning; after a few minutes the not responding notification appears. Last wifi sync performed a few days ago; had to re-run it but most tracks did sync properly. Maybe that sync made this problem worse...or just coincidental. tried to send debug logs and maybe you received them; but I got no copy via email.

Perhaps this version is not compatible with Android 2.3.4?

version 1.1.3.0554; MMAPro; running on a Droid X with OS 2.3.4
MMWBeta 4.1.14.1813 on Windows 10.

For starters you're running an old version of MMA as you have an Android version that is too old for newer versions. Fixes in MMW may have issues with older versions of MMA impacting sync.

Have you tried restarting the device? That may fix the scanning issue.

Yes, and now the device is restarting itself; but scanning continues until MMA becomes unresponsive.

Could the device operate MMA either without syncing to MMW; or syncing to an earlier version of MMW?

I suppose I could wire transfer mp3 files and playlists from MMW and then import with the device player...

Is the playback freezing occurring with UPnP playback in MMA? Then again the MMW version may matter or it's a known issue that has been fixed in a later MMA release.
