i would be nice to see what music people want to hear
you could check this list after some party and consider to enlarge your collection, also i could be used to make a top 10 searched list (if you use the search alot, e.g. instead of using the tree)

it should just save every search to some txt file or something alike.

maybe something similar has already been developped (couldnt find it)

Check out MediaMonkey.ini - find the key [SimpleSearch] - this contains the last searches. I'm not sure how many it saves, but Item1 is always the last one that was performed.

ADDITION: The information is only stored to MediaMonkey.ini when MM closes so to find out what was searched for you will need to first close MM, then open the .ini file.

can you edit the number of saved searches?, like to 50 or so ?

i don't seem to find it, is it in the mediamonkey folder (plugins scripts ??)

You can't change the number, it's a standard MM thing. Your MediaMonkey.ini file will be in "{My Music}\MediaMonkey\" unless you've moved it to "{Program Files}\MediaMonkey\".

You could have a script with a startup event which copied the current ini values to a textfile, this would then mean you could keep a longer list - although it might not be complete. And you might have some repetition as well.

yes but the result won't be worth the effort of putting together such a script i guess.
no problem.
