Thanks! It's working now. :D

In Quick Search, instead of "Artist" as default, can I set "Artist-Title" as default.

I'm not able to get this add-on to work on Windows 10 with Edge as default browser (it did work on Win 8.1 with Internet Explorer). I followed your YouTube video. I get the warning message, then my system hangs for quite awhile, then it comes back with 2 error messages (I don't know how to post them here). No browser opens with the Discogs logon page (I have set up an account).

ActiveX will no longer supported in the edge browser.

I have to find a new way to communicate with the browser. In the meantime you can't use the script, sorry. :(

EDIT: You can still use Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10. but iI don't know, if you need to install it.

Thanks for your reply. I do have IE installed but not set as my default. Are you calling IE directly or the default browser?

I call it directly.
Perhaps ActiveX isn't enabled.
I will try to get a Windows 10 machine asap, for testing.

Hi again
Most of the time on the MusicBrainz tagger i dont get results from artists even though i search the name as it is on the musicbrainz website. I end up manually searching up the album i want to tag and copying the link into the tagger. any ideas?

A.KOR Always
Artist:A.KOR
Album: Always

Ive tried manually searching for A.KOR on the tagger search bar but i dont see the artist in the dropdown menu. Also tried combinations of artist and album like A.KOR - Always ect

방탄소년단 DARK&WILD
Artist:방탄소년단
Album: DARK&WILD

Ive noticed that the tagger doesnt accept or forward foreign characters because none of my albums that have foreign character artist/album names work.
¨
Can you make it so we can enter artist name in the search bar and get all releases of that album so we can manually click which album and album version we want? Sort of like in Mp3Tag if youve used their MusicBrainz tagger. I know it sounds like a lot of work but it would solve a lot of problems for me and my mates and probably a lot of other people here who also have this same problem. cheers mate

I released a new version where i add support for foreign characters.
Unfortunately, the tagger-search will not always find the same as with the web-search. That's one thing I can not influence

If you search for an unique album/artist/title name you get all releases and have to manually choose the right one. Just choose it in the upper drop-down field.

Please try the new version and post bugs/problems/confusions

Not sure if it was the last change, but now any search when an album has the & character will continuously ask for authentication, even though it is authenticated (tried cancelling and using another album and it worked fine). Even if you do try to authenticate, it will once again ask for authentication.

First time I tried this with Nadja & Black Boned Angel (same album name) and last time I tried with Dave Gahan & Soulsavers, album Angels & Ghosts. If I changed the album to Angels And Ghosts, it would search fine (and change the tags to &). I also tried with the artist/album artist, but that made no difference. The problem seems to be with the album.
