Well got it installed then experienced many errors.

address violations and exceptions galore... as well as something about pointer being locked...

Right now had to uninstall as I was getting 50+ error notifications popping up had to use task manager to close MM.

Good luck. Hope it can work again.

I investigate this later this day. Thank you for the hint.

I never get 50+ error notifications using this script.
Please reinstall the script and try again. Make sure that only one instance of mm is started.

Hello,

My Name is Karsten, I am new to Media Monkey and I have a Problem. When using the Discogs Tagger the Cover Art is not displayed and saved since Yesterday. I think it might be due to a change of the API?? I am not good in working with Scripts, so i can´t solve the Problem on my own, i think.

Can anybody help? I just saw that it seems that there is at least one other Person with that Problem. Changing "Covers" to "Cover" dit not solve the Problem for me. When I click on the Place where the Image should be it is Displayed in the Browser, so the link does not seem to be the Problem. I habe not made any Changes to my system, not even Windows Updates (Win 8.1).

I am using the newest Version of MM and of the Discogs Tagger Script.

Please excuse any Mistakes in this text, i come from Germany and my English is not really bad but also not as good as it could be.

Greetings from Germany!!

Karsten

I can confirm the same thing -- no album art is displayed since yesterday. I'm using the most recent version, 4.52.

Hallo Karsten,

Dein Englisch ist okay, besser als meins. ;)

I think Discogs changed something in the api. I check it this afternoon. Thanks to all for reporting this.

Hello,

Was wonder if you may take a feature request. Perhaps making the fields down below where you select which files to update editable (you can double click them now and edit, but the edit doesn't seem to stick). Also, perhaps making it so the title is an optional field to update. Doesn't seem like it would be to hard to accomplish, I would tackle it myself but I'm more of a php programmer.

Works great as is, but think these improvements would make it even better.

Cheers,
Ash

Since updating to 4.5.3, I too am getting a lot of errors:

error #5 - Microsoft VBScript Runtime Error
invalid procedure call or argument: 'Asc"
File: 'c:......\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\DiscogsAutoTagWeb.vbs', Line 2962 Column 5

I'll try reinstalling the plugin from scratch in a bit. It also does seem that MM (4.1.3.1708) is hanging a lot more too.

Is there any logging from the plugin ?

Did you see the hint in red "There are different numbers of tracks" ?
This means, that you selected 20 (e.g.) songs and the release you choose from discogs have more or less songs. This is important !

Take a look at the first song. The title of this song is "I Am Shadow".
Can you find a song called "I Am Shadow" in the discogs release ? If the song have a wrong name you have to change it, so mm can regonize it.

Hey, thanks for your reply. Yes, sometimes it does show this warning, sometimes it doesn't, so it doesn't match the files correctly although the number of tracks is identical. I also do find the respecitve titles in the discogs release, so that's not the problem. Is there any way to match tracks manually with the discogs release as it is possible with Windows Media Player, for example?

Hi Ash,

The fields down below are from mm. Please put your feature request in this thread : http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4
I think it's a good idea to make the fields editable, too.
