I looking into the possibility of adding "cameleon" functionality to make "MonkeyRok" automatically take on the appearance of the current MM skin. This would probably be done as a separate MR skin, or maybe a skin mode, I'm not sure. Is this something that people are interested in? For a start I will have to add a zip component to the package so I can read .msz files, so I want to be sure people want this before I bloat MR for no reason.

Sounds OK but I am not really that interested in this functionality.

I would really like the choice of having MR automatically change to the current skin. Would save a few keystrokes as I like to change skins a few times a week.

No big as far as I am concerned, but, I tend to stick with what I can read.

I don't play much, if at all, with skins.

Well there's already a mode for automatically changing the skin if you have an MR skin which matches your MM skin, try selecting "-Automatic-" in the skin mode. This would be different in the sense that you wouldn't need to have a matching skin, theoretically.

I've tried the Automatic function but it doesn't work for me. Do I need to do anything other than select it?

Just a thought on showing Playlists in MR. I've read in this thread and the one for Song Information that only static playlists can be easily shown with these scripts. I've noticed that in the Classification tab of a track all the playlists are shown. Is there an easy way to "tap" into that?

Not a programmer and I know nothing about scripting so that may be a really dumb question. Please excuse the ignorance, you've probably already thought of it and there is a reason it won't work.

I've already added auto-playlists to the next version, but I don't think it's possible to tap into that screen, no.

the chameleon function sounds cool i also like to change skins frequently and the auto function has never worked for me either

also i think it would be nice for the bundled skins to match up so that you don t have to wait for the skins to catch up to the updates every time ....

I would be interested in that.

If I only need to change the MediaMonkey skin and the MonkeyRok skin changes with it, then that would be great.
What would happen if you didn't have the matching skin installed?

The automatic skin mode keeps using the last skin if it can't find a new matching skin. Or if it's the first time (so there is no "last skin") then it uses the first skin alphabetically.

I would be interested too in this "cameleon" feature. To tell the truth, I'm curious and craving for the possibility to read/write the .msz skin files.

The only complete languages I have for the next version are English, French and Brazilian Portuguese - anyone want to help with any others?
