Does Analyze volume work in a ipod ?

Post by rtoledo2002 »

Greetings everyone. I know that MM plays songs and somehow makes the volume on all songs to whatever I set it at like 100db.

My question is IF I take the Itunes library and analyze it, will the Ipod then play it at 100db ? .
right now the songs are low and some high and I have to go back and forth to my tool box to adjust the volume as the boss does not like it too high.

I can't live without music in my life .

thank you in advice for all advice

I think I might have found the answer here
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=32761&hilit=analyze ... s&start=90

BUT If you more advice or info please post I can use all the help and it sounds like I will have to re analyze and lower the 100db to maybe 95

I just turned the SoundCheck on in the IPOD I hope it works

The volume level set affects playback within MediaMonkey when using Analyze Volume. Don't know if iPod's have a level you can adjust.

However you can level volume on Sync (so only the synced copies are leveled) if you want to increase the volume. Generally up to 95dB is considered safe (no noticeable artifacts), anything higher may work for you, but that would be trial & error.
