MM4 does not preperely recognize my new LG G4, it switches between the internal storage and SD card names, and does not allow to see the content ofthe music library on the phone.
anyone encountered such problems?

Just rename the profiles if they're switched.

Which version of MediaMonkey are you using and is MediaMonkey for Android (MMA) installed on your device?

I use version 4.1.8 1747, and did not install MMA... thought it's a player only, will it change the way the device sync with MM on my PC?

MMA should not affect USB sync (ie. you should be able to sync without it).

Does syncing fail in any way and is the problem just the viewing of files on the device in MMW? Are you trying to view the files through the device entry in the Media Tree?

MM swaps the names of the internal storage and SD card on my LG G3 (running Lollipop) as well. Caught me by surprise when I thought I was syncing music to the SD card only to have it not be there when I looked at the contents in Windows.

I don't have any problems browsing the music on the phone, however.
