lead guitarst and singer for the boxtops died last night. can't remember his name he died in new orleans from heart troubles.

also last night. here in texas johnny high died of heart troubles. he was 80.

sad day today. :(

they also did a version of "Cry like a baby" i don't know if they did it first or if dean martin did it first. i heard it by dino first then i heard the boxtops do it. 8)

He was much more famous nowadays for his work with Big Star :)

Dean Martin - whoever he is :wink: - did a version in 1954.
The Box Tops hit was 1968.
Shame about William Alexander Chilton 1950-2010.
And he was was younger than me.
