Hans

Re: Pfadangabe in der Datenbank ändern
i don't think there is a way to change the actions of the database to allow use on different computers with out doing the rescan to check for updated time stamps.
you could how ever go the portable way and put monkey on portable usb drive and have it play from there on all the
different locations. there are some in the forum doing that already. but that is the only way i know of for keeping the database up do date when you use three different computers to update and edit the songs.

not sure if you ment to say
" you are doing the time stamp way at this time "
or if you wanted to say
" yes i want to do the time stamp option how do i do it?"
so how to do it is simple just go to mediamonkey's option panel on menu bar >tools> options.
look on the panel for the option to " update only if time stamp is changed. "
i believe it is in the library section on the options panel. turn that option on, then when you
change songs information with other programs the date modified for the song will be changed.
then when you rescan the songs with monkey, he sees the changed " time stamp " and updates
only that song's data.

\\Diskstation\music\Einzeltitel\song.mp3
und mal
M:\\Einzeltitel\song.mp3
DANKE

Make sure you're not using M:\\ (I assume is a mapped drive) in Add/Rescan Tracks, Conversion, Auto-Organize etc.

Re: Pfadangabe in der Datenbank ändern
just to get it right:
I have to rescan my files, and then there is a button/link to convert the mapped drive "M" into "//Diskstation...." ?
