WIN10 64bit MM Gold Locks up computer

I have been using MM Gold life for years but it is not stable now. Open MM and the computer is jerky and locks up. Close MM and all is well. Tried several versions of MM. Currently using 4.1.29.1909. What is my next move.

Open Task Manager -> Performance and see if there is CPU Spike. If yes Lower your CPU usage in MM under Tools -> Options -> General -> Performance. Latest MM versions are more Multi threading efficient, than earlier version and detect more available resources than previous versions. So then utilize them more efficiently eg. older version took 60% of CPU on All Settings and due the better Multi-threading utilization 1909 uses 85-95% and do things much faster on expense of general speed.

Due that in latest versions of MM default performance is cut to half in order not to clog your CPU (especially on low-mid end PCs. I have 32 threads and using 16 takes 25%-35% on full background jobs).
