MM will not add tracks

I have recently had to reinstall Windows7 which wiped the hard drive in the process After reinstalling MM I obviously needed to scan to add the music which I keep on a separate drive.
After selecting the correct music folder, MM scan and says that it adding x,000 tracks but it has only added the 4 or 5 tracks that I had recently added to the music folder which were not indexed like the other 6000 odd tracks, i.e. Music/Artist/Album/track.

Can anyone please suggest why MM will not add the tracks.
