CD Ripping

Post by peaches »

I have this showing under CD Ripping under Options, and wondered if I should change it? I am more concerned with the frames info.

D Drive Settings: Read frames 27
Read type: Standard Read or Jitter Corrected Read
Overlap frames: 3
Check frames: 1

I'd only change it if you're noticing a problem with the resulting ripped files. If you're just the purist type that wants "perfect" audio rips, you'll probably want to use something like EAC instead of MM for ripping.

Funny you should mention that as the slight problem I have is on some CD's that I rip they sometimes have a strange clip at the start of some tracks that begin very close to the beginning, and I thought that may be to do with this.
