Playlist question

Post by jz1276 »

I have 2 computers in my home on the same network. I Created a playlist on PC1 and saved it on a mem stick. I then copied the playlist to PC2 hoping it would work but doesnt. My entire music folder is being shared on the network. Do i have to recreate the playlist all over again on PC2 itself?? Thanks.

try to do a find and replace of the songs, if you have the gold version of mediamonkey it can do that.
if that does not work then might be that the network server maybe is used by both pc's but each pc calls it's hd a different number.?

:(

Open the playlist with a text editor and see if the paths match where the tracks are actually located.

There is no such option in MM, I think RC was referring to the text in the playlist (which you can do with a text editor like notepad).
