lyricsplugin.com makes MM crash!!!

Post by playagiron »

Hi,

I am a happy user of MM3 and used to use the lyricsplugin (IMHO the best as it almost always gets the correct lyrics from the net without problem) from
http://www.lyricsplugin.com.
It is originally for Winamp but worked fine with MM, at least before I had to completely reinstall my system.

Now whenever I install the plugin or put the gen_lyrics.dll in the Plugin Folder, Mediamonkey shows the splash screen bu tthen quits without any notice.
I tried to remove several other plugins (have non than the standard ones installed) but nothing helped.

Now I was looking for other Lyrics plugins but since I don't have the lyrics in the ID3 tag, need an online solution that nicely integrates in the Design, and I just found lyricsplugin PERFECT!

So if anyone tried it out or got it working, I would appreciate a hint of what might b ethe problem!!

Or try the lyricsplugin, I think after having tried all the others, it is by far the best!

Cheers

If you recently updated or installed iTunes 9, it might be the cause of your issue: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =1&t=42607

Hi,
thanks for the ideas, checked but I don't have itunes and the lyricator is too much hassle for me (unless I did not manage to configure it properly). It keeps asking for the right album and doe no integrate perfectly in the MM window.
So am looking for further ideas as lyricsplugin.com is really stunning!! You should try!

Lyricator is super easy. Just select some tracks and run Tools > Scripts > Lyricator.
