Auto-Organize not working
Hi there
For some reason, my auto-organize seems to not be working. When I try to organize an album or even one song, a message pops up saying:
An error occured while moving file: C:\x to C:\y (obviously x and y are examples..) Do you want to try again?
I have tried reinstalling MM from scratch, and there are no unusual characters in my organizing path. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but how would I go about that?
Re: Auto-Organize not working
select all the songs in the listview area.
go to tools menu and click on advanced tag management. then click on sync database.

Re: Auto-Organize not working
My mask is:
Main Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Music\
Subdirectories: <Artist>\<Album>
Filename: <Track#> - <Title>
Main Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Music\

Re: Auto-Organize not working
Is "User" as is? Or is it your window login name, ie does this directory exist?Dabog wrote:Main Directory: C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Music\
I suspect C:\Documents and Settings\ to be a system directory with specific rights granted to users by the system.
Re: Auto-Organize not working

Re: Auto-Organize not working
Found out why it wasn't working for me.
Under Options-> General
user friendly masks, needs to be checked in order for the <?????> masks to work on organizer.
