Hi,
I once had this same problem with Vista in the past, but not with any build of windows 7 (now on 32bit RC). I am running the most recent release of MM and have tried reinstalling it as an administrator, in Vista sp2 compatibility mode, and running it as an administrator, all to no result.
I am accessing local tracks but through the networked address (I forget the technical name for it) rather than drive letter since I share the database and tracks with a number of other machines in the house.
[i.e. MM looks for the tracks not at D:\My Music but at \\Bilze-PC\My Music even though they actually reside at D:\My Music on Bilze-PC]
I have not chang anything on my system, but perhaps windows update or ESET smart security (v4) has? MM has full network access according to the ESET rules.
Can anyone help with this?
Thanks,
Bill
