register 3.x and use 2.x for now?

Does registering the 3.x version allow me to use the old 2.x version until I think that 3.x is providing everything I need to switch to 3.x ?

Currently I'm more satisfied with my 2.x setup, so I'd like to use it until 3.x has ironed out the bugs and until I find a skin that gives me the same user experience as 2.x is doing now.

If you install MM3 to a separate location, ie.: C/programfiles/mediamonkey3, it should have no effect on your mm2 installation.

Somehow my column configurations and window positions get messed up in MM2 if I start MM3, even though I installed MM3 to a different directory.

But the main question was: does registering 3.x also provide the gold features in 2.x for me until I want to switch to 3.x?

I'm pretty sure that MM3 keys works on MM2.

OK, I just registered MM3 Gold and now I'm waiting for my key to be sent!

For your information: I registered MM3 and the reg code does work for MM2.

I hope it works for MM3 as well, haven't tried it yet
