A few of my tracks have their ID3 track number written like "03/10" or "01/17" instead of just "03" or "01". I've tried forcing the track numbers to be re-written; but I haven't been successful.
Can anyone suggest a way I can have MM fix these track numbers in the tags?
Thanks
How can I change track number from "03/10" to just

I don't know to much about tags so I don't know if it's the same field as MediaMonkey uses for track#. Have you tried to synchronize tracks to update the tags in the files?

Yes, I've tried syncing the tags. Out of desperation last night I tried stripping out all the tags and then telling MM to reapply them. That sometimes solved the problem, but not in every case.
This is an issue for me because some older devices I use are not happy with a track number that is non-numeric.
I have finally determined the source of my problem: DRM-free songs purchased from iTunes.
This can probably be solved with a script, and I was hoping someone had already written such a beast.
