cross-site request forgery detected

Sorry -- only peripherally relevant to MMA. I'm trying to log into the help desk. When I do, I get the message: We encountered a problem (cross-site request forgery detected); please try again I'm currently on assignment in Japan, trying to log in from my company's network, so I'm sure stringent che...

Re: "Remove Unavailable Items" but in Scanning?

Hmm. I had the same thought, but that wouldn't be good design (or at the very least, there should be two separate menu items for manual scanning and monitoring.)

Pretty mysterious... How does one report bugs? Would official support (I'm a gold member) be faster than filing a bug?

Re: "Remove Unavailable Items" but in Scanning?

Yeah, I scanned the folder itself (and also the entire collection) but no dice. One possible source of confusion would be that my collection is on a linux server named satan that shares my music to the household via SAMBA/CIFS. The collection is mapped to a network drive "M", but MM knows my collect...

"Remove Unavailable Items" but in Scanning?

I had an mp3 and flac version of an album: M:\H-Disk\Hendrix, Jimi\1997 - South Saturn Delta\128\ M:\H-Disk\Hendrix, Jimi\1997 - South Saturn Delta\flac\ I deleted the mp3 files and put the flac files in: M:\H-Disk\Hendrix, Jimi\1997 - South Saturn Delta\ However, when I do a MM search on "South Sat...

Re: Winamp Volume Balance Problem

Ahhh. I see. By centering the the balance on the EQ, Winamp's balance is centered as well. Steps I took: 1. Change default player to MM. 2. Play | Equalizer 3. Center the balance (as close as possible; there are no tick marks to show where center exactly is.) 4. Set default player back to Winamp, an...

Re: Winamp Volume Balance Problem

Thanks. It looks like Play | Equalizer is grayed out and can't be selected. Is it disabled when you use an external player (like Winamp?)

Winamp Volume Balance Problem

When I double click a song in MM to play it in Winamp, Winamp appears but the volume balance is 100% in the left speaker. Not a huge problem, but it's annoying to constantly shift it back to the middle. I Googled the problem and found a few threads along similar lines. One of the posts indicated tha...

Re: Podcast Tagging and MM

That worked, thank you.

One last question. When you change the "Type", do you modify a field in the mp3's metadata? Or is this strictly a property kept tack of in MM's library database?

Re: Podcast Tagging and MM

Thanks Peke. Doesn't seem to work as expected. Screenshot showing songs retagged with "Podcast" still showing up in Music node: http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/1993/ab74.png Additionally, these podcasts don't seem to show up in the Podcasts node (they have an empty Artist field, so they should di...

Podcast Tagging and MM

New MM user here. All my music resides under /data/mp3, and all my podcasts reside under /data/mp3/other-3/podcasts. I noticed that MM correctly identifies many of my podcast mp3 files as podcasts and lists them under the podcast node. However, some are listed under the music node. How does MM deter...

Magic Node Question: Lyricist

I'm going through the Magic Node documentation, but didn't get far before I hit my first question. I'm wrestling with this: Lyricist|Child of:Artist\<Lyricist|Trim:1|Min tracks:10>\<Lyricist>\<Album> I understand what each field and qualifier does, but I can't seem to find this node in MM. My unders...

Re: How to Search Within Playlists?

Also, I do believe this is something that should already be in MM. Searching by node seems like a pretty obvious enhancement.

How do we submit feature requests?

Re: How to Search Within Playlists?

dtsig: Definitely does not work. In fact, if you look at the search bar, it does say "Entire Library". LowLander: Yeah, I stumbled across that. Nice feature! But I'm interested in a different question. I have N copies of one song (say, on the original release album, a few anthologies, a few compilat...
