Sounds like its related to an issue with iPod Touch/iPhone Firmware update 2.0.
f/w 2.0 does not seem to be compatable with MM.

MM can play M4A lossless. I just assumed it could convert to M4A. It can convert from M4A. Maybe I am missing something.

I want to convert from FLAC to m4a lossless as well but it doesn't seem possible with the m4a plugin.

Am I correct ?

The reason i want to convert is that I still want itunes to be able to read my library.

I had some tracks syned up a while ago (one of the recent betas) and they were not playing at all !

Opened up iTunes there. Set gapless off on them and now they play just fine on the iPod.

I didn't even notice in MM that you can set a track to gapless. Can you ?

And if you can then why would you ? I understand you'd want certain albums as gapless but if all it does is cut off the last 3 seconds then thats not much good.

Ok. I have figured this out a bit anyway. I opended up in iTune my iPod. Selected a trck I had just tested and set the "Gapless" to false. Then played it again on the iPod and it played to the end ! I will check when I get back home what happens when I sync with MM. I'll see if it sets it ...
