Any idea why this happened in the first place?

The portable application takes care of all registry entries etc. You can make almost any software portable including MS Office, Winamp, Limewire.....

Any idea how to add an art to the AlbumArt tag?

A lot of my songs have invalid track# (containing parts of artist name). I selected all the invalid files and in the property window clicked the tick next to Track# (thus emptying the value). I even selected all the files and clicked Ctrl+S. Yet if I clear my library and rescan it, the tags are back...

Video support would be highly appreciated. But somehow i feel adding image support too (with editing tools) would unnecessarily make it extremely bulky and (most) probably increase the bugs.

Perhaps a diff (but on similar lines) tool all together to handle images would be good.

Just make the app portable, using tools like Thinstall or many others. You do not need any special kind of hardware to run this portable tools. *ANY* usb stick would do. I have ported my MediaMonkey using Thinstall. Try it, if you need a direct link to download my portable version (with my settings)...

This is hard to explain,

1) A song is searched for and selected in the search result
2) The search string is deleted, thus all songs are displayed again
It would be nice if the selected song is still highlighted and scrolled to.
