This turned out to be simpler than I expected. I describe the steps I took below for anyone who might want to do the same. My computer is a laptop. I instaleld a new hard drive and installed windows on it. I took the old hard drive (the one with my music files on it, among other things) and stuck it...

Transfer To new hard drive [NAB]

I've just installed a new hard drive and reinstalled Windows. Is there a way to copy my old MM3 Database to my new installation, and keep it linked to my songs, even though the songs are now not in the same directory? My songs used to be in "D:\My Music\Songs"; they are now in "C:\Documents and Sett...

About StreamRipper: copy the files for it from the winamp plugin folder to the media monkey plugin folder then monkey can use it. 8) Which files do I need to copy? I can't get it to work: I get an error "failed to find skin bitmap," and then it locks up MediaMonkey: I have to shut it down via Task M...

re: skins:
I have a dual monitor setup, and none of the skins I've tried t interact well with the icons that Nvidia/Ultramon add to the top bar for switching programs between windows/maximising across windows/etc.

So, no answer to this: is there no volume slider using the standard windows theme?

Missing Volume

In MM 2, the MM player had a volume slider. I can't find one in MM3. Is there a way of changing the volume within the program without opening the equaliser?

When I did my clean install of the current version of MM, that was also the case with me: the Next key was assigned to a Find More function.
It does look like the defaul key bindings for one or more keys aren't what they should be.

Skipping forward - corrupt image

When you use next to skip to the next track, and MM doesn't have focus, a handy little image pops up in the bottom right of the monitor showing the artist, song, etc. If you click next again quickly, the next image that pops up is something like this: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h36/demiurgeast...

@others Do keys work when MM is Maximized? And you you have one play/pause key or have separate play and pause keys? I have a combined Play/Pause key. But there's no problem with that one - it works fine. All my MM keys work, except the Next key, whether MM is Maximised or not, and whether MM has f...

My external keyboard is fine (thanks to the setpoint Players.ini fix). The Laptop keyboard: the laptop model is Rock Extreme CT. Under Device Manager I have two keyboards listed, both Manufactured by Logitech, so they are for my external keyboard. I don't know how to determine the driver of the inte...

Nope, HeistMonkey - that doesn't solve anything for me. I do have a Logitech keyboard, and the players.ini fix in that thread sorted the problem I was having with it wityh MM 3 b4, but my current problem is related to my laptop's integral multimedia keyboard. Setting default program to MediaMonkey h...
