Oh G*D!

Thank-you thank-you thank-you Steegy!

I just gave the script with the modifications a try, oh man oh man oh man. I had a backlog of albums with badly formatted (to me) tags and this just took care of all of them.

Oh man, what a godsend.

Thanks again.

Thank-you so much, Steegy. I love this script, and haaaaate having to always be a bother and ask questions. It's nice to have at least a small idea how these things work...thanks for your help, and again, for the script.

Hi Steegy, Would it be possible, using this script, to edit the "artist" field so that I can take a tag like "lastname, firstname" and convert it to "firstname lastname". I've been trying to find a solution for some time using other scripts, but because there are no spac...

Oh hey, Scooter, thanks. I actually live three or four exits from Topanga, so I'll definitely look into that this weekend.

Oh, yeah, I was kinda afraid of that, that maybe the manufacturer was really only adding USB connectivity to an inferior turntable and using that as a marketing gimmick to technophobes in order to move product...some of the negative reviews did say that the turntable was light and "plastic-y&qu...

Vinyl junkies--anyone using new USB-turtables?

I don't know if anyone reading this board still collects vinyl, but among those that do I was wondering if anyone had tried the new turntables coming out now with USB connectivity. I was trying to gauge the quality by reading the online reviews and they seem to be extremely biased in either one dire...

Ah, ok Steegy, I'll check all of the above, too. I don't think I've recently installed any auto-scripts, but I'll definitely have a look at that and also pay attention to your other suggestions as well.

Ah yes, sorry, I should've done that the first time but I thought the problem honestly was with out_sqr and would be easier to fix...I actually did try renaming the plugin and then restarting MM, then I deleted it and restarted, and my system resources still are still at 100% when MM's running. I'm ...

Ah, ok, I'll give that a try. I'm hoping that'll do the trick as it's a plugin I can do without.

MM using 100% system resources

Hiya guys. I installed the SqrSoft plugin over the weekend and it was too much of a drain in my computer's system resources so I went back in my 'preferences' and chose the output plugin I was using before. However, MM is still at 100% even after this change. What I didn't do was delete the SqrSoft ...

HOLY COW!!!!!! I just got home, got on the computer and immediately *was* greeted with the "delayed write failure" message mentioned earlier. Panic! Now my entire external drive, not just my music folder, was quickly becoming inaccessible. I quickly started researching possible fixes (it w...

Well, mine is connected via USB/Firewire. I wish I could remember what the message in my tray was this morning, but I just can't. At first I thought that maybe my Firewire cable had slipped out of its socket on my computer as it doesn't seem to fit as snugly as the USB connection, and that's why I c...

Psshhh!!!

Thanks, Bex...I'm new when it comes to working with scripts and had only seen references to the scripts.ini file without understanding what its function was or where it was located.

I just found the help file where this is discussed...thank-you, and sorry for the stupid question.
