Re: Issues with the scrobbler and MM 4.1 [#10125]

still a problem on mm4.1 1615 removing gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll from plugins folder and MM will run normally. putting gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll in the plugins folder will cause mm to run about 10-20 seconds, never showing the main window, only the tray icon will show up, then the mm.exe will terminate ...

REQ: restricting library search/scanning paths [#10170]

Hi, my android storage contains various app folders with their own audio/video files, which should not normally be added to the library. Ideally, there would be setting to select which storage path(s) should be included in the library so these extranious media files are ignored. On a related note, w...

4.1.0.1609 -- auto-organize dialog/tab

auto-organize dialog is now a tab within the main window, pretty please include an option to use the standard dialog.

My main track window is smaller sized than what I used for the normal auto-org dialog.

Re: How does a SSD drive behave with mm.db

As has been said already, it doesn't matter how fragmented a file is on an SSD. The drive is so fast that the effect of a fragmented file is nil. This is not entirely accurate. You can look at any ssd benchmark and there will be differences between sequential read/writes, and random read/writes. Wh...

Re: How does a SSD drive behave with mm.db

Maybe it would speed up this process, if the temporary MM.DB would be created on a other (hard-)disc and then moved entirely to the final location (SSD). What do you think? no, keeping it on the ssd would be the fastest, since the ssd provided the most read/write bandwidth and lowest latency. With ...

Re: Better contrast for the "Vitreous" skin.

I didn't realize about the 'dark' skin, I am liking it alot more than the default (which is also a little too bright for my tastes), thank you for the link and appreciate your efforts. I haven't dived into the thread linked, but a quick comments; - it would be a little easier on the eyes if the trac...

Re: Collection & Columns Beginner Questions

I don't understand why the column browser list shows lots of stuff not relevant to music files?? Media Monkey knows that a given file is Type: Music, so why show me colums like Episode, Season, etc.? Well, the simple answer is, because then people would complain that certain columns are not availab...

Re: Masks, is or or partial match possible with $if

Or, you can nest $if()s which might be able to accomplish what you want. for example a pretty complex auto-org mask involving nested ifs; $left(\Media\$if(<Quality>,<Quality>\,$upper(<Extension>)\)$if(<Album Artist>,$if(<Album Artist>=various,_<Album Artist>,$if(<Album Artist>=techno,_<Album Artist...

Re: Collection & Columns Beginner Questions

I just started setting up my Music Library using the Gold ver. Collections & had a few questions: 1)Is there a way to customize the Column heading (change the name)?. I use several of the standard flac tags for other than their intended purpose and would like to reflect that in the column name....

Re: (Auto) organize artists with special names?

How do you organize artists (and titles) with special names Do you remap the special chars or do you try to use this characters as far as possible? if you do not want the special characters in the filename, then you have to use the remap you linked. it would be alot more convenient if there was an ...

Re: Photos, Books, Ringtones

no ebook support

ringtones would not be any different than any other supported audio file there isn't a node for it, I don't know if MM understands how to sync m4r files to the correct location or not.
