Re: Using the COM interface with VS2017 and plain C++
Dave Plummer, I have been doing more intensive work with this lately, and created some C++ code for dealing with the COM objects. When you get an IDispatch object, you need to look up the "DISPID" for the method(s) you want to call and then invoke them. This works roughly like (no guarante...

Re: MM window-restore failure with external script
I would like to revisit this issue. I've been working lately to create a script that runs under Node.js, similar to what I did a few years ago in Python. This project has required that I write my own C++ add-on to Node in order to access the COM library, but it does work. And I find that the same is...

Re: Using the COM interface with VS2017 and plain C++
Dave Plummer, I just wandered back into this forum after a few years away. I saw your question about using IDispatch. In this Wiki page I wrote some time ago, I have an example of using PyIDispatch.Invoke() , in the OnTrackSkipped() handler. Honestly, it's been a long time and I don't remember how t...

So tired of deteriorating UPnP support
MMA 1.3.3, running on LegacyOS (Marshmallow) on my old Samsung tablet. MMW 4.1.20, running Windows 10 Home. I added a new UPnP server to MMW with "update play counter" enabled so that the server will scrobble; this is for the case where I'm playing through a ChromeCast Audio. This server c...

Renamed sync-playlist issue
Back when I was running MMA on my old tablet, I had a top-level playlist called Tab with various sublists, some of which were selected for sync and some not. Recently I decided this wasn't a good name and changed it to "Fon" (on MMW). As far as I can see, MMW properly updated all the inter...

Re: SD card sync problems
A couple of weeks ago, my phone got an upgrade from Android 8.0 to 8.1. This caused the SD card to get a new internal device ID, leading to a similar situation as the corrupted SD I mentioned before. I was pretty pleased to see that MMA was able to mostly deal with this very well. It recognized trac...

Re: SD card sync problems
What I want to know is:
How do I make only one, correct, enabled entry appear for each for the tracks?
How do I get the album art in place for the FLAC albums?
How do I get MMW to recognize the synch status of the tracks?

SD card sync problems
I recently upgraded to a Moto X4, with an SD card. When I first set up MMA, I sync'd all the media to the SD card. The other day, I was tweaking camera software and somehow the card became corrupted; I had to reformat it. When I opened MMA, all the entries for the tracks I'd originally sync'd were g...

I no longer see this problem. No idea what was wrong at the time.

Re: Send To > M3U playlist not working
When I noticed the bug, I had something like eight or nine tracks selected. These tracks were not part of the MM library, I was managing a different set. Then I tested with just two tracks that were in the library, and got the same result. I am pretty sure there were no other MM windows (or dialogs)...

Send To > M3U playlist not working
It's been a while since I last did this, and I'm not 100% sure how it used to behave, but I had success with this before. I select a number of tracks, right-click, Send To > M3U/XSPF playlist... and nothing happens. I think it's supposed to give me a File Save dialog for the M3U. I've installed the ...

Stop after current [#12305]
Thanks for fixing [Duplicate play following removal of first track: #14215]. I just want to say: the only reason this [#14215] was ever a problem for me was that there is no way to Stop After Current in MMA . My typical usage is to park the car, pick up the phone, and move the current track to the e...

Re: Player keeps on resuming play, even if not desired [#141
With 1.3.0.695, connecting by Bluetooth to the car, I ran into this yesterday. Google Navigation uses the bluetooth connection to give directions. I was going into heavy traffic, so I paused the music (on the phone, sure wish there was a more driving-friendly control for this) for less distraction, ...

Re: BT: track number indexed from 0
Your sig indicates that you're using MMA 1.2.0.620. Is that correct? It does? Anyway, no, I'm fully up on 1.3, with regular updates, thanks. What other two? I meant the two other threads that lowlander referenced in his post prior to mine. However, it turns out, I was wrong as well: Delete after re...

Wrong, as usual. This bug has been fixed. The other two have not.
