Re: Iterate over library

Hi,...there is wait time before you can move on ...Thanks I am finding that there is a time lag with almost anything I do with MM4. Either it doesn't respond and then suddenly jumps into action, or it hangs for a heartbeat with cursor spinning like an egg timer and then MM4 decides to do what you p...

Re: Multiple Genre .. how to have mm recognize them

I use the (;) delimiter setting. Sometimes my genres appear without a delimiter. For example: HardRock Heavy BluesRock LiveConcert. In my Genres tree node it is incorrectly listed as HardRock Heavy BluesRock LiveConcert. To correct this I simply insert (;). For example: HardRock; Heavy; BluesRock; L...

Re: Exclude folders

I am in the same position on my PC.
I found no simple answer.
The workaround I have to use is select all the Other folders, one by one.
It's tiresome.

Re: MM Android Player

jiri, MM has irritating habit of interfering with my custom user setup.
Columns, devices, and file type association icons all come to mind as huge MM annoyances.
I do hope you can reassure us that our precious tags will not be touched by MM thinking it knows best when clearly It Does Not.

MM music files are on a New Hard Drive - advice please

I have a new hard drive. Hooray. I am copying the music files from the old to the new drive. Estimated time to complete is still reading over 12 hours. Yes, there are many many mp3s and flacs to transfer across. I know MM4 is not gonna be at all happy about this change in hard drive. In the past MM ...

Re: MM will no longer close!

Lowlander, you said "deselect".
I suppose that means un-ticking.
In which case the portable devices are still listed, albeit deselected.
I have been deleting each listed device - is that where I've been going wrong?

Re: MM will no longer close!

Common causes are connected portable devices .... NWDreamer, its a good question. I too get this behaviour and it is caused by "connected portable devices". I do not want any portable devices connected to MM. MM insists on connecting to Portable Devices such as phones, pads, and ext hard ...

Re: How does a SSD drive behave with mm.db

For me Complete takes a considerable time to finish its job. complete is completely (pun intended) dependent on how fast your cpu and hard disk is. If you watch the mm.db folder, you can see it basically creates a new one by building up the database journal/lock file, creating a new empty database ...
