Yeah, I like that idea, but not just in Party Mode. It would be great if there was a child mode or something, where you can block the searching and hide inappropriate songs and albums. That would be hand when sharing a music library, and you have songs that you listen to with explicit lyrics but you...

Unfortunately all the changes I have made have not been reflected in the tag information - except in MM. Is there a simple fix for this? Am I doing something em...

I suppose you could just install MM on the server and then access it from the other PCs. But I dont think that is ideal, as you should install MM to the actual computer you are using. Or do you just want to be able to share a MM library over the computers. As in, you can have one copy of all the mus...

Sharing Music over the Network (with a twist)

Hey All, I recently went and bought myself a nice new 320GB HDD for my Desktop Computer which sits in my room. In addition, I have a Laptop and My dad has a Desktop in the study. Now, I have setup the Desktop in my room (the one with the 320GB HDD) as a sort of Media Server. I store all my movies, a...

Umm, Im not sure about importing play counts and such from Itunes, but I know that you can import your tracks from iTunes, you just need to get MM to scan the folder where your tracks are stored and it will add them to the MM library.

Here is the full statement I have made C:\My Documents\My Music\$if(<Album>,<Album> - <Track#> - <Artist> - <Title>,$if(<Artist>,<Artist> - <Title>,<Title>) I am using...

You have probaby burnt an MP3 Data CD. In this case, the files have been burnt to CD in normal mp3 form, so it can only be played on computers, although an exception is the newer CD players and DVD players which can play MP3 files. In your case, it looks like your CD players cannot play mp3 discs, b...
