auto-organize option - access violation on track format

MM3: Tools -> Options -> General -> Auto-Organize - checked off "automatically organize tracks in the background" - clicked on "Add Mask" - selected Genre "All" - double-clicked on mask's Directory column, selected directory - double-clicked on mask's Track Format column, got small blank window, the...

Still not entirely worked out in MM3 (which is Alpha, I know!). I get an access violation when attempting to specify the Auto-Organize option.

MM3 - File Monitor is very slow

It seems to me that someone has probably posted this already, but I couldn't figure out how to use the search forum on the Forum in an effective manner such that I didn't have to look thru 48 pages of posts to see if it had been posted already. File Monitor in MM3 seems to be MUCH slower than in MM2...

AUTO-auto-organize ;-)

I'd like auto-organize to be truly automatic (or at least have the option to make it so): Organize tracks when they're added to the Library via the File->Add/Rescan function or via File Monitor. Thanks.

The only reason I organize my MP3s into folders (Artist\Album) is because I sometimes play my collection through the Tivo interface, and Tivo displays songs in a folder-based hierarchy, not tag-based.

Lowlander;

Good to hear it's on the wishlist.

As I mentioned in my original post, it would also be very helpful to be able to tag tracks from multple artists in the same operation, as WMP's "Get Album Info" function can do.

I've found that if the track's album tag is blank, it usually won't show the corresponding album. For example, if I auto-tag a track with name "Strawberry Fields Forever" by artist "The Beatles", the search window shows the album "1962-1968", which does not include that track. The dropdown list at t...

Thank you for your reply. My issue isn't the need to select a different source (amazon.*) when the album isn't found. My issue is that when the track IS found on one or more albums, MM should make it easier to know which album(s) contains the track. Putting those albums at the top of the dropdown li...

bring auto-tagging up to speed with WMP and others please

OK, then I guess my wishlist item is to enhance the auto-tag function to make it do what I'm guessing a lot of people wish it could do ... correct tag information for a track(s) based on the existing tag information: You select a track, and MediaMonkey retrieves information from amazon.com based on ...
