Re: Event OnChangedSelection between nodes

Not in Mantis

Save as OnSelection.vbs in Scripts\Auto\

Code: Select all

Sub OnStartup
      Script.RegisterEvent SDB, "OnChangedSelection","OnSelection"
End Sub

Sub OnSelection
      SDB.MessageBox "Onselection Triggered", mtError, Array(mbOk)
End Sub

Re: Node Finished Executing Event or ...

Have a check to see if the nodes you are interested in generate a "MM.DB-journal" (same directory as MM.DB) while adding tracks If so it is a sure way to check when it is finished (still a timer check) but a definiate end i.e. no "MM.DB-journal" = finished adding tracks I have code in DEISync if you...

Re: Node Finished Executing Event or ...

The work around approach if I needed it would be; 1. Read the node caption. 2. Have a cross reference for common/std nodes and lookup a table with the SQL statement to get the same track listing 3. If it isn't in the common nodes list then check the ini for magic node name and generate the SQL from ...

Re: The title of the mp3, does it make a difference?

There is no "correct way" but I like to include as much information as possible in case of a database loss The only thing you might be missing in you staructure is the track # So D:\Music\From CD's\Pointer Sisters\Collections\01_Automatic.mp3 or something You have album artist, Album and title so fa...

Re: monitoring current track without on_play

Firstly I would like to say I very much welcome discussions of this kind, as the onplay event has needed a review for some time. Unfortunately it has only been generated because of the Last FM plugin requirements/missing functionality :( I really really want ipod sync Last FM updating (but isn't cov...

Re: Understanding Tree Node Events

Very nice summary.
I haven't exploited all of the the events so I can't add too much; Bex maybe able to add a little more info from his inconsistencies script.
Can't say I'm suprised by the extra firing though ;)

The exection orders could be very useful for scripters, thanks

Re: Custom Properties Panel v3.3.4 (17-08-08) [MM3]

Hmm I think there is an issue with explaining how to set up a custom panel, some users maybe doing something to create the error. If you list the properties you wish to see in the panel, I will set it up and post the resulting Scripts\PropertiesPanel\PropertiesPanel.ini This hopefully will get past ...

Re: Updating Fields on Multiple Items

If you are only interested in a few fields (the more fields, the slower the script) you can use http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =2&t=31014

Yellow = blank + 1 value
Red = More than 1 value
Also has dropdown for values.

Re: Help: What is code for calling today's date

Looking for this I think

Code: Select all

    LastExportDate = Cdbl(Now)
but you might have to add/subtract 26k from it to match MM

I have done the code before but can't remember which script :(

Bex knows it off by heart ;)
