Just installed 1758; crashes immediately upon start-up. Norton is blocking winamp.exe Suspicious.Cloud
Sent in debug log and .elf

Re: 4.1.9.1758: Norton Security finds infected file

My Beta installation crashes as soon as it appears on the monitor...Norton keeps removing Suspicious.Cloud even after I tried to allow it in a rule. Haven't had this problem with any previous Beta version.

Re: multiple Errors Querying Database; MMW Beta unusable

There are several different error notices that pop-up; cannot query database is the common element. If I clicked Album to sort in library view; rather than sort, I'd get three error messages. It wouldn't play a track; I'd get an error message. I tried removing the MM.DB file; and replacing it with o...

Re: multiple Errors Querying Database; MMW Beta unusable

I've deleted many scripts, restarted...now 32 GB of the 41 GB library tracks are dead links. MMW can find the tracks; but gives error Cannot Query Database and does not add the new locations, therefore doesn't eliminate the dead links. I'll try deleting more scripts...

Re: multiple Errors Querying Database; MMW Beta unusable

thanks! - Pavle did not say anything about problems, because the MMW Beta he was helping eliminate duplicates from the standard MMW Beta that had just been installed, after I had uninstalled all the problematic versions of standard and portable including updates. Upon that new installation, I had to...

multiple Errors Querying Database; MMW Beta unusable

Good morning, Hope you can help with Errors which have grown in frequency over the past month or so. After several hours yesterday organizing my 7,000 tracks, correct their tags, and move them into new folders; I noticed the script RegExp Find and Replace stopped removing leading digits on track tit...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

@chamel - it has to delete all the files in the destination folder otherwise when you uninstall a script, it will still be there in the backup, for example. Just create a "MediaMonkey" (or whatever) folder within the destination that you want and choose that folder. There is an option to not do thi...

sorry if this is too basic; but using Backup 6 shows a warning box 'Backup cancelled because folder already exists.' Please advise how to correct?

Re: test build installation without losing settings

I do not see an Appendix in the About screen.... yet I do already find in settings... [Portable] IsPortable=1 I have no scripts appearing...but the size of the library is 38GB, which was my hope as it should contain files with the most updated worked-on tags I will install the newest Beta version MM...

Re: test build installation without losing settings

I have copied and pasted the Backup dated March, 2015 (i think it was trixmoto's Backup 6.0; it has Configuration Settings, MM Database file, Restore VB Script file, and a Scripts folder) to the C:/MediaMonkey directory, alongside the 4.1.8.1747 beta non-skinned application MM file...but when I open...

Re: full install to portable failed

then reinstall portable; copy the DB from the 40 GB full installation; DON'T scan the Music folders (cuz they have 112 GB of triplicates) , rather have Portable find the missing files of the 40 GB full installation DB? Will those 40 GB of tracks show up as missing?
