Re: MMA2 beta, resume playback
I'm getting the same on the new Coolwalk with Android Auto. MMA2 doesn't resume properly. It goes straight to the "Play Tracks" or "Play Tracks (Shuffled)" choices and that's it. Swiping over just goes to a "That's It!" screen saying there's no more suggestions. The new...

Re: NEXT MM4 BETA-Version?
I'm sticking on 4 as long as I can. I tried a non-beta of MM5 recently, and it corrupted some album art on some files I was updating.
I should report it, but the fact that is, it scared me off for a long while from going in, especially with so many extensions missing.

Re: Long file paths are skipped [#16334]
Okay, to answer the questions:
Yes, it played in MediaMonkey when I did try to use the right-click menu.
And they did scan and work properly in MM5 (5.0.0.2227)
So, that's good, at least.

Long file paths are skipped [#16334]
Windows 10 Pro - 1909 Media Monkey Gold - 4.1.26.1896 Sufficiently long file names are skipped when I scan directories. I did a quick search in the forums and didn't see it mentioned. I've seen this with a few files. What's interesting is that I can tell what files are affected, because on the file ...

Re: 1664 - Case Checker Error
I'll check the debug version later, but I do have multiple collections along the side, and one of them right now has zero items in it.

1664 - Case Checker Error
Just got a VBScript error in the Case Checker after installing the release build of 1664. http://i.imgur.com/qvV2uHd.png I'm guessing the VBS script is pulling up a null collection? The line it's referencing is: For Each itm In holdArtist For reference: Windows 8 - 16GB RAM Edit: I should say, even ...

Re: Convert album art from GIF/PNG to JPG on embed
It doesn't happen much, but usually Google Image Search. Those Target naturesounds CDs are notoriously hard to get art for. Often times I find them from eBay auctions as GIFs for whatever reason.
They'll display fine in MM, but elsewhere sometimes causes issues.

Convert album art from GIF/PNG to JPG on embed
iTunes and some other players ONLY recognize album art when embedded AND when it's a jpeg.
Often when sourcing album art, it's a gif or png, which causes issues.
It'd be awesome if there'd be a checkbox to "Convert to jpeg" when embedding album art.

[1635] Tab button to change fields is broken [#10805]
In previous builds, after doing an in-place edit on the song list (Either two slow clicks or F2), hitting Tab would advance to the next field. (Shift+Tab to go backwards) Right now neither works. It's equivalent to hitting enter. My best guess is that it's recalculating something after leaving the f...

Re: 1424: Synchronizing silently fails on broken tags
I'm about to do that now. But knowing they were broken in the first place would be better. But first I'm running the Album Art Tagger to extract all my embedded Album Art, THEN clean the tag, THEN put the art back in. (Also, that'd be a nice feature. Or at least a WARNING that clean the tags deletes...

1424: Synchronizing silently fails on broken tags
No clue when this came up, but I uploaded my music to the Amazon Cloud and noticed that my album artist tag wasn't correct on many albums. So I synced, cleaned my library, etc., and it still happened. The Files to Edit->Unsyncronized Tags will still show them after I Ctrl+S the files. I downloaded F...

Re: Playlist generator - Echo Nest
It's an API that connects all aspects of music in many ways.

So, ideally, you can find similar music in your library based on what Echo Nest returns.

1352: Analyze Volume doesn't re-enable [#7501]
I guess Analyze volume doesn't work on video files, so it grays itself out on the context menu. However if you select one in a group of files and leave just mp3s, it doesn't re-enable it. Reproduction: 1: Ctrl+A on a folder with a bunch of mp3s and 2 movs and 2 mp4s 2: Right-click and see it is disa...

Re: 1256 Writing to disc or track tags often fails
Mp3s.
Also, because MM doesn't handle the Total disc#/track#, that can't even be cleared out.
