MM.DB is a database file. In layman's terms, it stores all of the information about your library -- A list of all tracks and their metadata, albums and playlists, etc. (If you're moving your database file around and renaming them, be sure to make a backup just in case!) Just to update as reached a conclusion. A full sync between MM5 and an iPod (at least my versions) does do a proper 2-way sync. Thanks. I ‘think’ I’ve had it confirmed the 2-way sync should work via ‘send to’ - the dialogue appears to suggests this as it says “Send to (sync)”

I’m sure it would have been designed that way, hopefully the guys at MM will find something in the debug log.
