Re: New phone, one track "Failed to download"
The file transferred just fine, so far as I know, on the s22u. At least, I never got any errors about a failure on this file before. And I've had the track since before I switched to Android (and MediaMonkey) from an iThing eight or nine years ago. I guess what I'm asking for here is twofold: A reas...

New phone, one track "Failed to download"
I just upgraded from a Galaxy S22u to a OnePlus 12, both with OS 14. When I swapped I did a data transfer of all my data content, which included my MMA2 on-device library, some 19K+ tracks, then I synced MediaMonkey and it matched up the files. So far, so good. However, subsequent syncs (three so fa...

Adventures in changing phone brands
I just swapped from a Samsung S22u with Android 14 to a OnePlus 12 with Android 14. This was simultaneously the easiest and hardest phone upgrade for me regarding MediaMonkey. Using MMA 2.0.0.1173. Did a data transfer of my apps and data, so all my music transferred over retaining the file structure...

Re: Complete sync failure with 1168
1169 fixed it, thank you. Please reset your ticket default priority to "medium". Looking at that from both sides (I work a corporate Help Desk) telling a customer that their issue is low priority when there is only the single channel to reach support indicates that regardless if the issue ...

Complete sync failure with 1168
Build 1168 is failing to sync at all and crashes when I try to go into sync settings. I submitted a help ticket yesterday and that system has a bug too, where I cannot set the priority so it's stuck at low. Ticket 6992. Multiple crash logs have been submitted. Also, the home screen widget is now tra...

Re: LAN network setup oddity, not fatal yet
Unless playback updates the database for my Smart Playlist automatic management, that is a non-starter. I very specifically want it to not matter which PC is being used (so long as MMW is only running on one at a time). If I listen to music or watch a video in MMW on one setup and then later resume ...

Re: LAN network setup oddity, not fatal yet
Yes. I moved the database to a common location where it wouldn't be susceptible to a drive failure on my end - I moved it to my OneDrive. I realize I could (probably) go back to separate databases but that cancels out why I'm trying to do this in the first place. That DriveID instead of drive letter...

LAN network setup oddity, not fatal yet
In an attempt to future proof my setup and to MMW accessible on all three of my PCs without having duplicate libraries or databases (ie, changes seen on one will be seen on all) I put this line (per the FAQ) into the [System] section of the MediaMonkey.ini file: DBName=C:\Users\gordo\OneDrive\MediaM...

Needs a new engine. If you're in the USA, don't buy a Kia or Hyundai.

Re: Does not empty emptied playlist on sync [#20061]
Now on b1097. Issue persists. Smart Playlist that is empty in MMW has one track in MMA.

Re: Does not empty emptied playlist on sync [#20061]
It has never worked for me with MMW5 on the desktop. There is probably ticket history from me about this on the support site.

Re: Just lost an entire PC file folder because of MMW5
I've tried with "auto organize" off. It then copies, not moves, the items I am dragging onto MMW. What I want it to do is to take the files I am dragging onto MMW and only those files and move them into MMW. Remove those from the source location and leave any other files alone. There are n...

Re: Just lost an entire PC file folder because of MMW5
Well, I drag one or more tracks onto MMW (Music node) from Windows Explorer. MMW then proceeds to move THE ENTIRE FOLDER into MMW regardless of what else is in there. This is wrong.

Re: Does not empty emptied playlist on sync [#20061]
Faster than I thought. I have another playlist that shows as empty in MMW. This is the sync setting in MMA for "MediaMonkey Library (PC Name)". I note that there is also a "MediaMonkey Server (PC Name)" that has no WiFi sync settings. That playlist shows 16 tracks in MMA and zero...
