Re: MM 4.1.23.1881 - Playlist stuck at load time. MM won't shut down fully
Try File > Exit and also try disconnecting any media devices from your PC (phones/players/USB drives), if that fails too, capture a failed shutdown in a debug log (step 4b) and attach it to Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69 I tried this and nothing gets lo...

Re: MM 4.1.23.1881 - Playlist stuck at load time. MM won't shut down fully
After more troubleshooting, I'm getting the idea that the problem comes from running MM DLNA server as a service. When I disable the server, shut down MM, clear all MM related processes that refuse to close and restart MM, the issue is gone. I can open MM and notice that the last change to Now Playi...

Re: MM 4.1.23.1881 - Playlist stuck at load time. MM won't shut down fully
The only addons I have are skins. What happens when I shut down is MM main window closes, but it is still running in the background. If I look at the bottom right I still see MM running and this one won't exit. If I launch MM again, it comes back up, and now I have 2 instances of MM icons at the bot...

MM 4.1.23.1881 - Playlist stuck at load time. MM won't shut down fully
So this is a weird new problem. I can edit my playlist, clear it, add tracks, etc... BUT if I close MM and launch it again, the playlist no longer reflects where it was left off at shut down. Instead it is stuck on a playlist I set up a couple weeks ago. No matter what I do, the same playlist of ran...

Re: remove break between songs on live albums
What you are looking for is called gapless playback. Go into settings and find the Direct sound Output plugin in the Output Plugins section. From there you control crossfading of tracks, gaps, etc... This only controls the playback, not the ripping. Winamp is a more capable ripper when it comes to a...

Re: Gapless play possible through DLNA?
Reviving this old thread because I'm not finding gapless play when using MMW gold playing from my DLNA server on my LAN. To boot, the DLNA server is another computer running MMW's DLNA server. So it's MMW DLNA server, and a MM client. It would be really nice to have gapless playing of albums where t...

Trying to generate .m3u playlist when ripping a CD
One feature I miss from Winamp is that you could automatically create a playlist right in the output folder when you ripped CD's. I don't think MM does this? I can't figure out how to do this in one step, namely when ripping a CD. I'm not attached to the file format of the playlist, but it's nice to...

Having a function to re-apply an Auto Playlist's criteria
Right now Auto playlists let you build a sophisticated playlist based on a slew of criteria. Once done, you still have a "static" list. But the real power of Auto playlists would be to re-run the playlist criteria "on demand", so that the playlist gets updated in the event you ad...

Re: Tag Management
I just ran into a tagging issue myself. I edited tags on my music OUTSIDE of MM, but these changes weren't reflected in my MM media library, even after re-scanning forlders and doing a library "cleanup". For some reason, MM's library seems to keep its own set of tags??? Can someone shed so...

Re: Smart Playlist
I think this gentleman is hoping to have the playlist UPDATE ITSELF AUTOMATICALLY whenever media that matches the playlist criteria is added to the library. I don't believe Auto Playlists do this. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they used for a one-time process for making a playlist?

How to create "smart" playlists???
So there's a great feature called "auto Playlist" which allows one to build a playlist from criteria. I use it to build a playlist based on all the music files found within one file path (from a specific folder, that is to say). It would be really awesome if that Auto playlist could re-run...
