This is fine for a small number of playlists, but it's a real PITA when you have a lot of them.

This has been posted before, but the ability to choose where to import playlists to would be very much appreciated, e.g, import to "Playlists" rather than "Imported Playlists".

+1 to add a feature/option to import directly to the "Playlists" node.

Dragging imported playlists isn't that big a deal when there's only a few, but any more than a few is a real PITA, especially since you can't select multiple playlists to drag (with CTRL or Shift).

Thanks! Here's what I came up with, works great! ' Script to launch view an album's text file with a given editor ' Script presumes text file is named identically to the album folder, with .TXT extension Const EditorPath = "C:\Program Files\EditPlus\EditPlus.exe" Sub OnStartup Dim mnuViewTextfile Se...

n00b - help with file type script

Complete n00b here, not even clear as to where to begin. I'm sure what I would like to do will be trivial, and I'm an old-school C/C++/VB guy, so I know once pointed in the right directions I'll get by... I would like to detect (or even manually select) a TXT file in given folders, and have the TXT ...

Found some comments on "ScanExt" and "AssocExt" but adding TXT doesn't seem to work. Am I misunderstanding the intent of these values?

Doing so now. Meanwhile, if you're up for the challenge, let's say you have C:\foo\bar\1234567890\ which contains .FLAC files, an .M3U playlist, maybe some .JPG files, and most relevantly, a file by the name of 1234567890.txt --- I am trying to have MM show the .txt file as some sort of entry I can ...

You would need to write a script. When would you want the details to be shown? Automatically or on a keypress? What is the exact name of the .TXT file? Are they all the same? Thanks for replying. Display on manual invocation, not automatic. Text file name varies per folder, in fact it matches the f...

Text file - how to "include" ?

In a tree scheme where each folder contains a .TXT file with details about the tracks in the folder, how can I include a link or reference to the .TXT file in the "Album" view?

I'd like to be able to preview or at least launch the textfile contained in each album folder from within MM.

Thanks

My collection is all lossless, FLAC & SHN formats... thousands and thousands of files. I have over 2.5 TERABYTES of storage, 13 hard drives across three boxes... one could say I am addicted to live music. MediaMonkey is truly a fantastic program, after using it for a few days, so far I have only one...

For my first post, I'll cast my wish-vote for full FLAC support, including TAG metadata.

Great program!
