Re: [REQ] Customization requests Layout and Toolbar [#17826 #17560 #18019]

Hello. First of all, many thanks for adding this feature, which I sorely missed from MM4. I'm currently testing build 2655, and it seems like we still can't add some items to the custom toolbar, specifically from submenus. Those I use on each audio track added to my library : "Auto-increment tr...

Re: Scroll to given directory when typing

5.0.0.2338

Oh I'm sorry for the confusion. I do use the Music>Location option, actually. I wasn't aware there was a "Folders" view at the very bottom of the list.

Re: Scroll to given directory when typing

You're correct, I'm using Folders view 99% of the time, as my music disk's folders structure is very precise and helps me find what I'm looking for real quick, especially music that I haven't tagged/organized/shelved yet. Shame, guess I'll have to either comply with the new way things are handled, o...

Re: Scroll to given directory when typing

Thanks a LOT for your answer. I'm a bit puzzled as WHY this worked, but it did work, so again, thank you. I'm interested in understanding more, though, both what this "show all subnodes" does really and how the default design could help with browsing through my library without needing it (...

Scroll to given directory when typing

Hello. I switched to MM5, and it has been somewhat smooth, but I'm getting frustrated by a number of things. One of the main among these, was the ability in MM4 to type something while in the browser on the left, with my whole tree of directories open, and it would promptly bring me to the first ite...

Re: [REQ] Customization requests Layout and Toolbar [#17826 #17560 #18019]

I can only concur on the need to customize toolbars : - I couldn't care less about having the current path displayed, I'd like to get rid of this - I had made a specific toolbar containing 3 buttons that I use all the time in order to streamline my library organization : auto-increment track # scrip...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

If you install MediaMonkey as a Portable Install you can just backup the whole install, including the registry settings (as they're in a file instead of registry). MediaMonkey 5 will only backup the database. It's a regular install. I bought a new computer and need to transfer MM between the old on...

Re: Backup 6.0 - Updated 01/07/2014

I think you might find that many users manually restore, as Restore.vbs has been troublesome. Double click MediaMonkey.reg to add the data to the Registry. Copy and replace MediaMonkey.ini to either C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey or C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey. Ju...
