Migrating to Mac, Shift Library from Mediamonkey to iTunes
Hey all, I'm going to be switching to a new computer soon (Mac) and I wanted to know if there's any way to transfer my library including ratings, playcounts, skips, date added, and playlists to iTunes. Once it's all in iTunes (on PC) it'll be easier to transfer that data to the iTunes on the new Mac...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
I can confirm that there are no static sized data structures in the design - everything is linked lists. I only have 6k tracks. Not sure if I have any other users around 30k tracks. Are you doing any conversions? It is reported the FLAC decode eats memory though I've not experinced it myself. I hav...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
Your symptoms match exactly having the separator set to '/' yet clearly you have not got that set. I repeated your configuration here and got different results. Despite what the pop-up says the separator IS used in Build Folders mode. I've made some more notes in the manual about this. Please try o...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
I just downloaded mm4 and the current iTunes.dll, but I'm having trouble creating folders in iTunes. With build folders selected, im getting some funny behavior. Any slash in the playlist name creates a new branch, unlike the previous iTunes.dll in mm3. Also it only goes one branch deep. I'll do so...

is it possible to transfer the skip counts in custom 5 into the skips field in MM4, and have the script use the skip field instead?

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
New version http://www.mediamonkey.com/addon_system/admin/files/preview.php?action=preview&record_id=96&category_id=20&version_id=129 This introduces a very new feature .... the ability to sync the MM database to a copy of iTunes running on a Mac. This goes hand in hand with my attempts...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
There are lots of aspects to sound leveling that need to be explained and considered. Personally I do not use leveling in the MM sync nor in iTunes. * If you sound level while syncing MM->iTunes then MM will always create separate mp3 files. This will be the file that will be put in the cache. * It...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
One more question, will files be removed from the cache if they are no longer in the iTunes database? I only sync the songs which will go on my iPhone, which is around 19-20 GB. Under "Music" in iTunes it says I have 19.46 GB of music. The size of the cache right now is 27 GB, (and my hdd ...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
I have a question about the Cache. I want to try the Sound Check in iTunes because when I play songs from my iDevices the volume is all over the place. I use sound level analysis in mediamonkey, but that leveling analysis doesn't carry to idevices. Also, I don't want to actually level the sounds and...

iPod Shuffle 4th Last.fm Scrobbling
Hey guys I was wondering what your method for scrobbling your iDevice was. I tried QTScrobbler and LastPod but I'm having no success with either on my ipod shuffle 4th generation. I think its the iPod itself being a more recent version, since I've used LastPod before my iPod classic with no problems...

Re: AutoRateAccurate 2.4.3 (29/10/2009) - Small bugfix
I have noticed that this script introduces a small gap between album songs when mediamonkey is playing that album for the first time (ever). If I immediately go back to the end of the last song then the change is gapless, just appears to the first time it is played. Is there a setting that can reme...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes device plugin (d_itunes.dll)
I had a quick question if this was normal behavior. Occassionally after several syncs when I have Mediamonkey sync with iTunes it tries copying over everything. Usually what happens is only the new tracks are updated. When it does this it takes very long and continues to happen every sync after that...
