Unfortunately this Sunday's sync saw the return of the problems with the playlists not being correctly updated.

So today everything synced perfectly. I noticed there was an update to MMA on the 18th of June. It's possible I had this update roll out for me last week and it fixed things.

This bug still persists.

I can confirm this issue. It is definitely happening to me as well. I sync every Sunday and only on Sunday evenings late my phone is down to 20% battery capacity or less. This is not a solution but a (manual and time-consuming) workaround.

I would like to add that it seems that the above behavior also goes for ratings. When I remove a rating in MMW and those files are already on MMA as part of a playlist the old ratings will still show in MMA.
