In MM4 there was an extension called Played Date and Counter that would set the Last Played Date a programmable time after a song started playing (rather than the default behavior of setting it after the song plays 100%).
Is there an equivalent for MM5?

Re: Lost settings
I made a backup of the mediamonkey.ini file and will compare the two next time it does it. No reg cleaners in use here.

Lost settings
I'm running MM 4.1.29.1920 under Win10. At least once a week when I boot up the PC, MM comes up with the default skin instead of the one I have set and prompts me to allow it to make changes to the PC. I have to re-select the skin. It keeps my playlists, but I suspect other settings are going to def...

Synch a subset
I'm using the MM USB/Mass device to synch my music collection into a device that is smaller than my entire collection. In the device profile, I turned on "Synch random subset" option and had it reserve 1024 MB of free space. When I performed the synch, MM filled up the entire device and ga...

Re: Getting started with Sync
I agree. I should be able to configure it. When I go to portable/audio devices, the Generic (d_USBMASS1.dll) is listed. I click 'Configure'. It shows device not connected. Maybe I found the problem. Even tho I had the jukebox connected to drive I, the drive label was incorrect in MediaMonkey. Once I...

Getting started with Sync
I'm fumbling around with MM trying to figure out how to get started with the sync feature. I'm using MM 4.07.1511 gold. My player is a Archos Jukebox 20 which appears as a USB hard drive when I connect it to the computer. When I look under the Sync Device menu, it says no device is detected. How do ...

Re: Building playlists
Ah....thats why I couldn't find it. Its not there in the free version. So far, I've used MM for about 2 hours, but that's enuf to see that its an excellent piece of software, so I ponied up and bought the gold version. Hopefully, it will let me build my folder playlists like I want.

Building playlists
I'm new to MM so maybe this is obvious and I just can't find it. I'd like to be able to build playlists based on folders where the files are located. I'd hopefully also be able to remember the build criteria so when new things are added, I can just rebuild the playlist and it would pick up the new s...
