Database Format

Despite the warning messages, |I've found that mm4 will read an mm5 database without any issues, but it won't let me add any new tracks to it. the warning pops when trying manually and if trying by scanning the folder, it says, 1 track added but it doesn't actually add it. In case you are wondering,...

Re: Kindle Fire HDX

If you watch part of a film and exit, when you next view the film it resumes from where you left off so that you don't have to remember how far you got. I rip my dvd's to my NAS drive so that I can sit in bed and watch on my tablet but I don't always watch the whole film in one go. I do have another...

Re: Kindle Fire HDX

If it helps, I used the beta version on my Kindle Fire HD without any problems (mainly using as a DLNA player). However, I now have Samsung tablet and my wife is using the Fire on her own Amazon account. I no longer need a Kindle version but I'm sure many people would like it so please don't forget ...

Nice to hear of a new version but....

Quote from elsewhere in the forum a while ago...

"Hi,
We'll add MMA to the Amazon store once it's out of beta.
Thanks!
-Rus"

Still waiting?

Can someone please tell the developers that us Kindle Fire Users still exist?

Thanks

Re: Kindle Fire HDX

Hi Rusty

Have been a Pro user on desktop & laptop for ages.
Sideloaded one of the beta versions onto my Kindle Fire some time ago.

Really would like to continue support by buying pro on Kindle Fire.

Any news on when this will be available from Amazon in the UK?

Thanks

Set location of database.

When using MM from my laptop or main pc, I use a library that is located on a NAS drive. This works great as whichever machine I happen to be working on, I always get my playcounts updated. My question therefore is that, can I edit a file somewhere on my tablet to point to the MediaMonkey Database o...

Re: Live Updating in playlists

Do you happen to know if this will be fixed?
I thought MM was supposed to be quicker than iTunes yet in this instance it would be the reverse!

Re: Live Updating in playlists

I've now reached the stage where I just wish MM would sync playlists properly, let alone "live updating"! Let's say I have a playlist set to contain only songs that have never been played and there happens to be 10 songs in the list. I listen to the tracks on the iPod during the day and at...

Re: Live Updating in playlists

Ah right, I see what you mean. There is one problem though, with the "live updating" option in iTunes, it will remove the tracks if you exit and re-enter the playlist on the iPod as well as auto updating in iTunes. It's a feature of the playlist itself rather than the way the playlist is h...

Re: Live Updating in playlists

No that is not what I mean at all. I have an auto playlist that checks the playcount so songs are automatically removed from the list as soon as the playcount reaches a defined level. As an example, it can be used to play all tracks that have only been played once so as soon as the playcount reaches...

Live Updating in playlists

I can see that this has been mentioned in the wishlist section but It was a long time ago and as far as I can see it is not available in the latest version. In iTunes, I can select "Live Updating" and this is very useful for playlists based on criteria that changes when a track is played. ...
