Thanks lowlander, so nothing wrong with scanning the NAS right?, since this is where my music is stored and shared, I pointed the MM to the appropriate folder on the NAS. Thanks again lowlander. I have pointed the new download of MM to look at my NAS where all of my music is stored. It's adding the files but taking a long time. So far 2 hrs. I note that there are % signs within some of the file names of the songs, whereas others have just the name of the song.wav or ...

Thanks for your help, but I don't have a MM.db file. Under my username I have appdata, local, mediamonkey and then two folders- one called previews and one called virtual cd. Why do I not have a MM.db?? Any ideas?

Unfortuneately I can't get access to it as I am in the UK. I tried various albums to download which returned a statement along the lines of not established a contract with this part of the world for providing this service...!! Lowlander I just had a thought, - this audio conversion thing are you saying that media monkey can convert a 16 bit 44.1 Khz sample rate to a higher quality audio file? Volume levelling across ALL TRACKS
Hello, I have a mixture of WAV and FLAC files ripped twith Medi Monkey. How do I ensure that the volume levelling across all tracks are in proportion to one another. Would ripped flac files be louder than ripped wav files? Any help appreciated as I dont want to keep turning up/down the volume.
