Data CD auto convert?

I did a quick search and didn't find anything... Is there a way to do an auto convert when using the data CD wizard, similar to the synchronize function? Currently, I do "send to folder (convert/rip)" (which adds the converted songs to the library -I think- which I don't want), then open up a differ...

Also, the GRC Spinrite forum is really quite helpful. I'd read through that and post a question there before proceeding.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Well, as you found out, Spinrite does tend to take a long time. If you have an extra computer, you could leave it running for 300+ hours to see what it does and if it progresses. Once it gets past a bd section, it should start moving. I suggest this only because you...

Now, if only conversion were instantaneous :D I guess that's not MM's problem, though. I just need to get me a supercomputer!

CD Data Burning - filename length limit

Hi, Let me say first that I think the CD Data burning is a great feature that I've been wishing for a while. I have an album that has some really long titles and file names. I use the format <Album Artist> - <Album>/<Track> - <Title> for my data CDs. The problem is that I believe CDFS has limits on ...

If you're talking about the "Now Playing" playlist, this is the default behavior of MM, and quite annoying. If you double click on a song, then all of the songs are removed from "now playing", the song that you just selected starts playing, and all subsequent tracks are added to the "Now Playing" pl...

I'm glad it works for you :) I think you have to download the full version of Winamp to get the plugin. I still am not sure what causes the problem. All I know is that on my old computer, WMAs stopped working, perhaps after installing some codecs or other media players.

ATI Remote Wonder offers basic playback controls - good enough for me. You'll need additional software if you want more advanced controls or to program some other buttons.

You could try copying in_wm.dll from Winamp's plugin directory from your old computer to MM's plugin directory and see if that works. At least that helped when I had wma problems. On a fresh install of Windows, I haven't had to resort to that trick.

Second, I'd try the latest beta.

Are you monitoring any folders? This will certainly raise the CPU usage on start up at least. What output plugin are you using? Seems to make some difference on some computers. Did you try out clearing out the now playing? What settings are you using to rip the CD? High quality can really take forev...

\\ (slash-slash) in path

In Auto-Organize, one can get a strange path consisting of "\\" if one of the tags has an invalid character such as "?" that is replace by "". For instance if the destination is \<artist>\<album>\<title>, and <album>="?" , then new path would be \artist\\title. MM doesn't seem to have a problem with...

Found It!!

There was a section in the mm.ini file named [FilenameMappings] that seemed wrong to me. It contained: [FilenameMappings] 3A=2D 2A=2D 3F= 3E=2D 3C=2D 22=27 21= 2F=2D 67=00 68=20 69=02 70=02 71=00 72=00 73=00 74=00 75=00 76=02 77=02 78=20 79=20 20=00 81=00 19=A0 Deleting that section fixed the proble...

Beta 3 debug file corrupt?

I get the error message, "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." when I try to install the debug version.

Well, I haven't been able to figure this out. It seems like a font problem or language problem. All the language settings as far as I can tell are set to English. It's not clear to me how to set or change fonts. Tried to set some of the fonts in Display Properties dialog box in Windows XP. It's not ...
