Yeah, that field is hard to read. I'll have a look at it, thanks for noticing!

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

Thanks a lot for the feedback, appreciate it! I can see how some elements could be considered to blend too much. That's actually kind of what I was going for, understated and uniform with a little splash of color thrown in. No question that tastes, needs and use cases differ from person to person, t...

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

I just merged all changes to main, get the latest version from github or (once it's approved) from the addons section on the mediamonkey homepage.

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

Seems like that is an issue that's inherited from the monkey groove skin (which code monkey is based on) due to the way how color inheritance is handled in that there. I opened a new post in the bug report forum for this.

Unreadable elements in monkey groove [#18029]

Hi, skin monkey groove uses the following color definition in skin_base_add.less @highlightColor: @warningColor; @highlightBgColor: @highlightColor; Css class highlightColor is defined to use these two colors as font and fill color in skin_layout.less, making elements tagged with this class unreadab...

Re: [REQ] Installer should remember the portable path

Installation artifacts like registry entries, environment variables, user settings outside the installation folder, etc. created by a portable application will remain on the host indefinitely because there's no uninstallation mechanism to clean them up like there would be for a regular installation....

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

In the next version I updated some files to align the skin more with the default one - which incidently also slightly increases the font size on some screen elements, the time display left and right to the seekbar being among them.

That's code monkey. I have a fix for that already checked in locally and will push it sometime in the next couple of days.

Re: MM5 API with WebSockets in NodeJS

iirc chrome only accepts remote debugging connections from localhost, probably for security reasons. There are a couple of settings that might help, but they are a bit situational and would need to be set from by the mediamonkey process that starts the chrome frontend. Aside from creating a proxy ap...

Re: MM5 API with WebSockets in NodeJS

Port 9222 is the remote debugging port for chrome. MediaMonkey uses chromium as frontend, which just happens to offer an API. You can use it to interface with the underlying host application, but that port is, technically speaking, not really related to mediamonkey itself.

Re: MM5 API with WebSockets in NodeJS

You are getting back the reference to a promise containing your value instead of the actual object. You could either try manually resolving it with runtime.awaitPromise or playing around with the returnByValue and awaitPromise parameters in your runtime.evaluate request - but I'm not exactly sure if...

In addition to the snippets posted by drakinite you could also have a look at the swapArtistTitle addon which comes with mediamonkey.

Re: Media Keys Media Popup

In the meantime have a look at this app , which hides the window that displays the information. The media keys still work as before, but the popup is hidden. The only downside, if you want to see it as one, is that this works on system level, so you can't selectively hide it for one app but display ...

Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

Orange would probably work as well. https://i.imgur.com/u3Zss2e.png Switching out the base colors is easy enough, but it gets a little more tricky when you start doing modifiers like desaturate, mix, fade, or stuff like that. Still, if there was a way to swap out variables in skins based on user set...
